Good craftsmanship and a sublime sense of shape and colour are part of the reason for SØHOLM’s
success. But behind the name is also a handful of secret formulas and unique glaze recipes that
have survived for generations.
In 1996, SØHOLM became part of the aida family. There was a desire that the valuable knowledge
from the almost 200-year old Bornholm stoneware factory should continue to be nurtured and
transformed into stylish home accessories. This now happens every day when we proudly develop
new and contemporary designs under the SØHOLM name in stoneware, porcelain and glass, and
ship them to customers worldwide.
