Click'n Tile is a unique tiling system that allows customers to mount their tiles without a craftsman. The tiles are made of ABS plastic, reused, and recycled as building blocks. The tiles can be mounted on a mounting plate, which can be attached to the selected surface with glue or double-sided tape, enabling use in both owner-occupied and rental homes.
Click'n Tile work from the reuse, reduce and recycle philosophy. They minimize overproduction by selling through their website. The moulding process and transportation require less CO2 omission due to the light weight of the tiles. The tiles can be used several times, and the company's take-back system allows customers to return their tiles and get a discount on new ones. Click'n Tile then uses the discarded tiles in the production of new ones.
According to Click'n Tile, using materials like seaweed or hemp and biocomposites can limit CO2 omission by up to 75% compared to standard polyolefins. In addition, they point out that hemp absorbs CO2 effectively and is also lightweight and biodegradable; this is why Click'n Tile has developed and started tiles production with hemp to replace all ABS plastic with biocomposite.
