House Doctor is a Danish interior design company with an international reach and an ambitious growth strategy. We are experiencing great expansion and further potential in our international sales, which is why we are looking for a Country Manager for Holland and Belgium. This is a new position and the first to be locally placed in Holland/Belgium, so it will be an exciting adventure and opportunity for the right person.
- Responsible for managing current customers across Holland and Belgium with focus on our four brands; House Doctor, Nicolas Vahé, Meraki & Monograph
- Focus on new business development, securing expansion on number of customers and geographical representation
- Seeking out and developing new types of sales channels
- Responsible for sales budget
- Securing brand identity through visual merchandising and on-site sales display for and with customers
- Representing House Doctor at international interior design fairs
- Sales planning and reporting
- Market research
You are highly motivated by sales and driving existing and new business. We have a close collaboration with our customers and it is therefore important that you have strong communication skills and the ability to establish close relations with focus on mutual trust. This is also important in relation to your back-office colleagues in Denmark, as the distance requires a high focus on communication and matching expectations. You have a positive mind-set and an outgoing personality with a natural curiosity for others. You understand the importance of being available and present for your customers and this is also where you get your energy and spark. You recognise your own and others’ capabilities and you know how to put them to use in the best possible way, enhancing collaboration and teamwork.
Moreover, you are structured and coordinated and can manage a great variety of tasks. You work independently and responsibly with everything you do and has a strong internal drive for creating value and results. At House Doctor, we are always open to new opportunities and are not afraid of taking chances, which requires that you are exible and open to change. You want to grow as a person, both professionally and personally.
You have extensive experience with account management and business development within retail and lifestyle products. You understand both B2B and B2C sales and have a strong and relevant network across Holland and Belgium. You have a higher commercial educational background and speaks Dutch and English fluently (French is a plus). You are used to working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs. You have the possibility of setting up a home office, preferably based in Amsterdam but this is not a must.
